Sharjah Book Fair
I did not know what to expect when I was invited, with Diana Bertoldi, to attend the Sharjah Book Festival in The United Arab Emirates. The people were so polite and welcoming, I felt very well looked after and their array of public art galleries was incredible. The venue for the Festival was huge and has a footfall of thousands each day it is open.
Storytelling performances were a new departure for the organizers, but the audiences were enthusiastic. Marry Array went down a storm there too and hardly needs any translation!
